I watched the video as the first reply on your post, I don't know why you wouldn't include these other ones as part of your main thread if you want to attract more players, moreover by watching the vids I indeed don't see any outstanding features or fun elements that makes me even wanna try this out in the first place, overall this portrays to me as a fun hobby project, but nothing more than that as it clearly lacks any vision for what it seems right now.

I wouldn't recommend you to expect DO Veterans to play that honestly, but it does have potential to appeal for complete newbies.

But for that, the assets must be well polished and scaled, also they must know how to start without any need to watch a video, a simple tutorial would help with that, without giving too much hints so they can make up their own decisions and learn from failure.

First focus on polishing your game, if you advertise it too soon nobody will stay long. I don't criticize people who use AI to make their own projects, i do use them to make my own, but the fact that using AI makes everything easier, naturally make you want to rush releasing it, which is a common mistake, enhance your anxiety endurance, keep working in your project and it may get to be acknowledged.

The scale of the assets makes sense once you play. You have the ability to create an army of drones.

The game has a guide for new players wiki that prompts you if you would like to see the tutorial when you start a new account.

Darkorbit veterans love it because of the progression system and unique features, again you cant say that unless you actually give the game a shot. Yes the goal was always to simplify things a bit to appeal to the masses once we get on app store.

Future people do me a favor and dont comment on the game quality unless you have actually played at least an hour, thank you! This thread was quiet for 2 months and now that we have some success everyone wants to give "lessons" that i do not care about lol. "may get to be acknowledged " your group cant stop talking about us and i dont care about your "acknowledgement" if you havent read the thread to this point. You guys are literally so egotistical and lame

If your goal is to rely on DO veterans, then a tutorial is pointless anyway, and the player-base will be extremely limited, like every other P-Server doesn't matter if its copy paste or not.

But if you are happy with that and that's all ambition you got, well then, have fun playing with your friends.

Imo the assets used are cool, they are creative common assets. However you have the ability to create mod packs using any assets you'd like and a few community members have uploaded theirs that you can use.

Its possible in the future we hire an artist but the game is still new.

EDIT: I have updated a lot of the graphics, the communities ability to create mod packs made some cool stuff and I implemented some of the best work

Mobile app testing is still ongoing, possible public release in 2 more weeks but we need more testers for the mobile app.

Make it smoother, it feels pretty clunky tbf
