Hey, thats a very good question, and yes, the server to some extent is quest based, if you check the leveling up data analysis, you can see that levels are sorted to groups where each group is supported by Quests. So as an example here

19 - 25 needs 8m EXP, 5m is acquired from quests as a 60% of total requirement, and 40% from grinding.

You can check the image with all the details, but remember those are general mobs only and no premium, so grinding timing will pretty much be 60% lower.

As we go higher in levels, we start relying less on quests and more on party grinding, so 36-40. 20% exp from quests while 80% is from grinding.

The carrot chasing image makes me think of Immortales server which used the same image in their thread. You friends or just share the same mentality? They also disliked the forced activity-driven gameplay most servers have implemented.

I dont know about immortales, its common sense, but i don't dislike activity as much as i dislike falling behind when you dont want to participate

Few years ago ive had placed many weird ideas to make server a little bit more interesting. Uniques which drops their pets was one of the ideas never implemented. Like TG drops its blue tiger (this is its name in pk2 files). I like the idea, it doesnt ruin anything and its cool.
Nothing is more interesting than uniqueness and fame. WoW had its unique items with extreme low droprate, some of them also droppable only at some fixed period and never again, Tibia has its items worth thousands of dollars etc.... Weapons with unique aura (like honor sun glow which is blue), uniques which appears only once per life.... You have pk2 files full of unused stuff, the only boundries are your imagination. Good luck

Regardless of this, the server looks promising, even if this is no indicator of quality in the sro scene these days.
