no you dont... you need the proff for the wep you originaly equip. You can use a wep you dont got the proff for (upgraded in market and you dont take it off)

I dont really see a point in a non reborn tao using a weapon that requires strength, but I suppose this method can be useful somewhere ;)

a non rb water can lvl alot faster in tg with a 2 soc weapon..
