Discord link is indeed on the site, on which you'll also find the status channel. The website itself also has a changelog page. Media is true, we only have one video (which is pretty old), but no, it's not dead software and still very much usable

That's not all, check on the website. Feel free to give it a try, that's what the 3h trials are for :)

Posting this after using Nightfall for a bit and dealing with both the product and the support side of things.

I want to keep this fair because the software itself honestly isn’t bad. My main issue is with the way some of the staff handle paying customers when support is needed.

**The product**

Nightfall itself is solid. The features are clean, the visuals look good, and once everything is configured properly it performs better than a lot of other menus I’ve used.

Compatibility can be a little picky depending on your Windows version and DMA setup. In my case, I spent quite a bit of time troubleshooting things like networking, caching, VPN/WARP-related fixes, etc. I even paid for a second week myself because I wanted to keep testing and rule out issues on my end instead of immediately blaming the product.

I also want to give credit to **semantic semen**. Every interaction I had with him was respectful and easygoing. He’s clearly busy keeping the software updated around game patches and handling the dev side, so I understand that he can’t personally deal with every support issue. I have no problem with him based on my experience.

**The support experience**

This is where things went downhill.

With **DIMSUM**, I asked if someone could check on an existing support ticket. Instead of simply giving me an update, he went through my message history in the server, accused me of spamming, and muted me.

I later tried to clear things up privately, and the DM conversation escalated into racial slurs and personal insults, including the hard-R and being called a retard. After all of that, I eventually got basic troubleshooting suggestions such as AnyDesk and Cloudflare WARP.

I have screenshots of the mute, the public messages, and the DMs, so people can judge that interaction for themselves. I’m not expecting staff to treat customers like royalty, but basic technical support shouldn’t turn into personal attacks and slurs.

**Mimz** wasn’t much better. In general chat, I was called “dumb” and “a pussy” while I was trying to get information about the software and my support issue.

Again, I have screenshots of those exchanges as well.

I understand that Discord servers can be casual and people joke around, especially in this scene. But there’s a difference between joking with the community and openly insulting a paying customer who is trying to get help.

**Bottom line**

Nightfall as a product is actually good, and I have nothing negative to say about semantic semen personally. If you install it, configure everything correctly, and never need support, you’ll probably have a good experience.

My problem is entirely with the support/moderation side.

When I needed help, the experience turned into mutes, public insults, and racial slurs instead of normal troubleshooting. That makes it difficult for me to recommend the overall service even though I can give the software itself credit.

I have screenshots of the interactions mentioned above and can provide them if needed. I’d rather keep the review focused on my experience than turn the thread into a screenshot dump.

**UPDATE / EDIT:**

I'm updating this review because **semantic semen** personally stepped in and completely turned the situation around.

After seeing what happened with the support staff, he reached out directly, apologized for how I was treated, and handled things man-to-man. To make up for the bad experience and the time lost while troubleshooting, he went above and beyond and gave me **2 months of subscription time** for free while he works on the latest game updates.

While my initial experience with the support mods was terrible, the owner himself is 100% legit, respects paying customers, and stands behind his project. If you're using Nightfall, the product is solid and you can trust that the dev actually cares about his community.

This is more than fair, and support needs to change, I agree on that. None of what you had to endure was in my best interest, and hopefully, we can still arrange debugging sessions for the issues you've experienced. Thanks for the honest review!
