how u can be sure that they make 2-3 sockets per day?
What i have like 3-4 sets of sockets i can easy go around and show different sockets to pplz reborn and lvl them,so it look like they all different.Does this mean i know how to make sockets?
Its all random there is no times/cords/days to make sockets... Its based on character luck. I had system for upgrading and i uped 3 items in row using this system and they got socket.but then it stoped workin for me.
Other thing that prove my theory about character luck is example with my miner. I made the char and got her to 15 lvl went to mine for 1 min got normal fury.And that miner mined 3 sdgs so far(I had another miner mining at the same spot)

IF YOU BUY DBS YOUR LUCK IS PROBABLY HIGHER OF MAKING A SOCKET!!!

How do I form this oppinion?

Well, lets see here most sockets occure in normal or refined gears and if you get a socket and you are a db buyer the first thing you are going to do is buy dbs to make it elite or super (if you don't plan on trying for second socket). Then buy dbs to get a super gem then dbs to compose this otherwise shity item into one of the best.

Personal experience...

I made 2 sockets. I purchased multiple db packs. And I don't mind supporting TQ so keep any flamming any of you might have to yourselves. However, I made the 2 sockets on a noob account that I just traded 30 mets too and I never credited dbs to this account. made both sockets within 5 minutes of each other with those 30 mets.


conclusion:

sockets are most likely totally random (even though its technically impossible)

I have made 4 sockets in a day before. All you have todo is spam. Why dont people believe it.

Go buy every met scroll in market
Put all the metscrolls in your TC wh
Have an empty inventory
Take 3 scrolls
Open the 3 scrolls
Buy 10 NORMAL lowest level items from NPC (E.G Lvl 10 Boots)
Upgrade each item 3 times
Repeat

Eventually you will get a socket, the average for me is about 1 socket for every 350 mets, sometimes you get one in 10 mets sometimes 1000 totally random.

The only way you can make sockets regularly is to not care about money, you cant ger bothered about spending 50kk per day on mets, and you cant be bothered by wasting 1000 mets and not getting a socket. Just keep going eventually you will get 1.

Also if you get 1 socket theres a high probability you will get several, its not always true but it happens alot

its a random generator not every xxx upgrades, otherwise you wouldnt be able to get 2 sockets in 20 mets

its most likely something like this:

Edit: Dim randObj As New Random should be public
I just ran this and found about a 0.002 chance is about right from my experience of socketing, I got similar results to in game from using 5000 as the max and 4990 as the test value, it ranges from <10 to about 1000 attempts to get a positive hit
