just wondering, 1x rates on a private server that won't last more than 2-3 months..what's the point of this server?

Who says that this server will last for 2-3 only? Though you're not forced to play here, feel free to play on another server which suits you more. Though I don't see a difference to a server which lasts for 3 years and people leave it after 2-3 months because they get bored.

The point about this server is that it is non-bot which means that people really interact with each other and it is not about getting max. level first and then leave because you realize SRO got no real end-game content (the way is the goal). Another thing is that x1 rates is simply healthier for a server as you slow down everything a little, make lower degrees more important, no outrageous gold inflation and much more. Furthermore you shouldn't forget about the fact that this server is fully and truly play2win, you're not asked to waste a single dollar in here as you can get everything by playing and by playing only. I really appreciate this kind of servers.

the server is really on a sweet spot for casual playing, i hope it gets 80cap / 80cap eu / fw updates in the future

Not as of right now, no. These files don't actually support 1920x1080 out of the gate, but the Sector1337 on Discord/EPvP was able to help the GM by adding it to these old files.

It might be possible in the future. For now, I'm just glad that they got 1920x1080 working on these old files that don't even actually support it, haha.

It's fun to bounce back to a low cap server now and then. I believe you made one before and it was a good time so I'll make sure to come play at go.

One issue: I logged in on this beta. The video resolution options are a bit "minimal". I have problems with the game messing up my pc. Even using the highest resolution, which matches my pc resolution, when I exit game, it screws up all my open program window sizes. I have to reboot pc to get them back to normal.
