When you're standing on an object like the "center jangan platform" in the quoted picture the NavMesh won't be checked if you're colliding with any another object.
Objects should always be placed on terrain.
Objects should also not intersect other objects.
If a walkable object and an unwalkable object intersect it's possible to walk "under" the unwalkable object and stand on the terrain beneath it where you wouldn't be able to walk normally.

In order to have blocked areas inside an object you'd need to modify the objects navmesh and cut holes into it as seen with the pillars in the video.
Wow, Crazy work! Im just wondering if the tool you are using is available?

Do you have plans to make a repository ever? I saw the app cannot handle Compound files (.cpd) so it get crash on those regions.

Hi ! Yes you're right ! I'll try to rebuild this quickly, lost a part of it and put it on github, hope this week I can do something. I've also the SRC of the map tool, would be fun if the community can build on top of it, we'll see.

If someone has uncompiled it and improved the tool, would be really cool if you can share it here :)

After some researchs ([Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...])

I'm able to edit as much I want sro map, so I made a tool which converts .m and .o2 files to .navmesh (well it doesn't fully convert, just replace existing content, you can't create new .nvm but you can "replace" existing one).

Here some examples (Sorry I had to add some blur effect, I didn't notice that there was some professional stuff there) :

Add Object

Remove and Add object from existing map

Some heightmap editing with random value (.m is generated and converted to .nvm file)

I'll add a those functionalities asap:
- Copy region to another one. Then you'll be able to create custom regions from existing one. (Like copy jangan region at any place for creating a pvp arena ?)
- Being able to remove an object from any region and it's neighbors (3x3). If you want to remove a huge object (like Jangan wall) you can.
- Convert textures from .m to .nvm

After those functionalities I think I'll be done with this map convertor, I'll share the code when I'll 100% finish the project. But well you can easily "revert it" with dotpeek or whatever. Then, if someone wants to improve it, feel free to do.

In my example I use SroMapEditor from Perryj, some years ago I got it from him, but I can't share it without his authorization but you can easily find it on this forum.

If one day someone is able to create a fully SroMapEditor (which handle 3x3 region + terrain editor) you can easily combine it with this tool then GG :D.

The tool is not 100% working I guess, I tried many regions, so if you use it, always test it !

Have fun with this stuff !

Biggest credits goes to people who reversed Sro files, PushEdx, The other place guy ?, DaxterSoul, florian0
