wow i actualy felt my I.Q drop from reading 11noob11 posts. It does work if you use a level 15 and up 2 hander. the level 5 and 10 dont work, you just run up to the stakes with them so use a level 15 2 hander and while your attacking equip your club

Try standing RIGHT between two stakes. Equip a 2h weapon. Hit one of the stakes. Equip your 1h weapons. And you will still be hitting the stakes when you're in the middle. Which means your Rage will hit both of them.
