try it. if you've read any other thread abt itemtype editing, youd know There is no way to show +1's on the ground, as +1 and blessed are not determined until you pick the item up.

Ok, imma go all retard here just for a second, pretty much this thing is pointless because all it does is upgrade your stuff client side? To super or whatever? Then what is the point in this? Either way, +1 Karma, took a lot of work to do this I'm sure.

Ok, heres an editor for making your itemtype file as you want.

Features:
-Batch editor to rename equipment/gems/command tokens on the fly, with your preferred prefix
-Manual editor, incase you wish to change something back, or mess about with values.
-Built in search
-Quick backup/restore backup

Place the executable in your ini folder and launch, the rest should be simple.

ok, i downloaded it, worked, i even changed some stuff, increased hp and whatnot.

the problem is, whatever i do to it, it SHOWS on the game but the effects r the same.

for example, i made a bow with lotsa dam , def and hp. i look at my hp and it says: (original hp)/3000, but when i heal, it doesnt go over my original hp. and it says 9999-9999 dam, but when i attack its the same. and same for defence.

am i doing something wronge? =/

Nop, you aren't doing anything wrong. Changes to itemtype.dat are client side only, except the range for some weapons which only works in TG though.
12/11/2005 07:58 Lucadia#41
erm... so whats the point of it?
12/11/2005 09:14 ELITEN00B#42
ok look ima try to not flame anyone but this is retarded let me explain this file to you guys that dont know what its for

1.)its not anything that makes ur char godly
2.) its to make your hunting easier

this file will tell you the items quality which means lest say your hunting and a refine, unique, elite, or maybe even a super drops on the ground this file will tell you hey this is a ref, uni, eli, or sup item

i have been walking threw spawns that ppl left and have found very good items one time some one was on their way to a spawn and i was following them and they got a super tao cap drop and they didnt grab it so i sat on it till i could get it

it informs u on the quality of the item thats it it wont change the dmg or dura or lvl or what ever

IT MAKES HUNTING EASIER

it also make moonboxing ALOTTTTTTTT easier by telling you which token it is in stead of wondering what u got

anyway i hope i wasnt to blunt and i hope i cleared this up sometimes ppl wont take the time to throuly explain things to noobs thats what im here for

I AM THE ELITE NOOB :bandit:

Explain this please. Can I make my Archer's scatter hit more stakes?

And to whoever asked for screenshots of items that we made... We're not making items with this.

Any items that you "make" are going to look just like normal items but will have different stats. The stats are false, however, and will no have any real effect.

I have some questions... I remember that when this first came out for CO1, there was a problem with classes, items were being changed into items for other classes and as a result, people could not equip their items. Does that mean that I can make my trojan use a tao robe or use a weapon with which he does not have enough prof?
