Originally wasn't going to bother replying to this, but it gives an unfair and incorrect idea to anyone reading it.
"administration" itself is a very basic concept if you are applying it to something like private server development, it involves minimal tasks.
Firstly I do not just work on database, I do both database and client development and yes development not administration, and here's why.
The fundamental aspects of "developing" are essentially either creating something or causing something already existing to grow and expand to something bigger, I do both of these even if in your mind that is not the case at all.
The loose definition of Video game developer, "a person or business involved in video game development, the process of designing and creating games"
Highlights that it is both the design aspect as well as all the other elements that make up creation of a video game.
so to put it in perspective for you, when I create or manipulate content into something new (wether you see it as something worthy or not doesn't alter the fact it is development) that is development, and if I am doing development it only makes sense for me to call myself a developer.
Developing is not limited to coding and programming, and since my main focus with Dragonica has been developing it beyond the scope of what the original game designers had planned, I will continue to call myself as a developer, call me as a potato if you want I couldn't care less, but to give people the right impression of what I am doing in terms of work on Dragonica I will call myself as a developer , hope that doesn't bother you too much.
