If u havent already, try unblock all your anti virus wen ure updating 2moons.

Well you seem to be better off than me, my 2moons keeps telling me that the update failed. I have no idea what to do now. :/

I'll try running a defrag on my drive to see if that will help (I doubt that it will though)...if anybody else gets any ideas, I'm all ears!

sachamo, I had problems with BSOD 2 months ago and I solved them this way.
Go todesktop and search for the my pc icon. Right click it. Properties. Go advanced settings. Go to the last one mm (Inicio y recuperacion in spanish so maybe initiation and recovery for english). Then uncheck auto-shutdown and now you have plenty of time for reading the blue screen and telling us your exactly problem.

Thanks, Skabed. Here's what I got:

BSOD Error Code 0x0000008E

When I googled it, the only thing I think might be causing it is that my RAM is failing, or my video card driver or controller is failing. Something about the launcher causes it to fail, which is why the bypass launcher works fine.

I have 2Gigs of RAM, and I'll check to make sure that my video card driver is up-to-date. I'm using a Radeon 9200 with driver version 6.14.10.64.62 (just updated to that, so i'll reboot and test)

well, u got me closer, but I'm still not out of the woods yet. The updated driver didn't help.

Maybe try restoring your comp to before any of the issues happen?
Or steal your neighbors computer? o.O

Is the game even opening, or is it not allowing you to even open the game from the launcher? I't still might be your firewall, I'f Mcafee has a resident shield, try disabling that, or you can manage your exceptions, and put your 2moons folder in there. Sorry, i'm not too familiar with Mcafee, hence i'm a AVG user.
