questions zu decrypt and basepointer

ok i tried to search for pointers again (i chose injected search) but it took too long. i mean: i get dc'ed from internet once a day always around the same time. i started my pointer search at around 3pm and got dc'ed at 1am and the search didnt finish in the 10 hours so i dont have any results...this sux...10 hours for nothing

couldn't u continue from last address ?

how long did it take for you to search for it?

Hey Samsusi thanks for posting the addresses u found.. I will try and figure out how you did that. You should make a tutorial as you progress.. just describe step by step for a few addresses..let us know how long it took for pointer scans and what not. Well thats maybe a lot to ask, but still u've been a big help already :) keep it up mang can't wait for the bot :).

I'm able to pointerscan pretty fast, so if you tell me what pointers you need to do in the game, we could split the list.

not meaning to sound disrespectful but when can we start seeing a finished product im not a programmer and i can barely use c++ so it was hard to keep up with the thread

@bustasnipe here's small tutorial

open GF - Login, choose char
open CE - add Process

search value [4byte] (e.g. current HP - 3940 in my case)
result: 22 address

fight some - loose HP
research for decreased values
result: 2 address

2 cases:

1: its your first pointer / try
pointer search for this address
- reverse
a) from 0 to 00A00000 (if that dont works for you use 00F00000 or higher; I think it depends on the value you found) then u get 1 pointer - finish

b) if u got many pointers..relog to other char (keep list open better safe it)
search again for hp e.g. 640

fight some - loose HP
research for decreased values

insert these new address into "Rescan Memory.." in your previous pointer scan window !
continue until found 1

proof:
logout - try other char
if values are right ...gz

2: you already got 1 pointer
your address: 040BDD3C
if your new search shows some address at least with 040BD[...] at start - you know u have found the right one - pointer scan or calculate offset (read clues)


some clues:
• all right pointer / address i found so far starts with 0; equal each other
• there are only level 2 and level 5 pointer (you can correct me)
• level 2 - first offset is 0x8 - the other offset can be calculated (calculator, your brain, what ever) - used this to get exp value
for example the different between hp current and hp max is 0x44
