RevolutionEO Climbing Those Steps.

i haven't got it yet, i bought it but it was a fake so i have to wait for some time until someone provides me with a real one.

Also a hot Christmas event has been made and will be ready for use right after i get the server onto a new host. loads of hard coded messages has been translated, if you don't know what that is you'll see that most of the weird language stuff have been translated into english so the server is now 98% translated...All of the cq_action has been translated, the client has been translated and now only the MSG.exe has left to finish it's about 30% done. And back to the MSG.exe translating i think this is the second server to do it after acme. I am proud to say that the server is doing great and as it says in this threads tittle RevolutionEO Climbing Those Steps This server stands upto it.

I am pretty sure FR has done some, and I am sure that DemonsOnline would have done it too (not sure though).

Also I don't want to sound picky but can I ask why everyone says "98% translated", "30% done" etc. How can you say this without knowing what needs to be trasnlated? I assume you don't have an exact idea of how much because if you did you would have translated it already. Please don't take this as offensive or anything it just baffles me, kind of like when people say (especially when they write) "nothink" or "somethink" even "PIN Number" (PIN = Personal Identifaction Number).

just wondering whats the best way you say is to do this .... its horrible doing it with hex - though it dose work ...i tried OllyDBG but that seems to crash the msg server before you can get the string to be called ...

i dont really see why people should put a number in iver ... its just so players think that theres alot done basically ... to me anyway

Well, to be honest i have made up the percentage but i haven't made anything else so i keep most of the truth there.

It is hard work, but when you translate some of it and when you know how to do it properly using nihhex it's pretty easy, obviously it's not very very easy, i've been trying for a month and i failed but then i got over it and done it.(to be honest it sounds like im taking credit for myself but it's my staff who is translating it.)

Yea Demons Online did some time ago... and still adjusting some to be more clear ... :)

The server isnt working for me...thers a maint or something?

RevolutionEO is down cos revo has moved everything to a new host and not updated the links to it.

Revo, wouldn't it have been good of you to have told all those people who donate to your server where to get the new client so they could logon? They are the people that donating you money for your project.

Yep we have quite a bit done up to now still tweaking the ones we have translated and finding new ones lol as you said there is ALOT lol :)

not anymore i have 1 gm and 1 gh now but they only watch out for cheaters and rules brakers and the gh is helping out alot as well.
