Well, it's a yes from me, but stop thanking every one in a new post, use the thanks button instead ;)
If I may, I'd like to clear some things up about Korvacs.Quote:
That wasn't my point either, and I clearly stated that I was not talking about you, I was reflecting the 'Make him a moderator he's good at coding'.
I have no idea if you would fit as a moderator or not, but people shouldn't vote for you if they just think you're good at coding - that's my opinion.
It's a big job to moderate the numerous sub sections in the CO2 Section.Quote:

The CO 2.0 community is what, 100 - 200 active members at the moment? That shouldn't be a problem at all.
Again, you don't need any coding skills to moderate the section.Quote:
Being a former mod of the CO2 Section, it is a job which takes patience and a job which requires great coding knowledge and reasoning.
Once again, being a former moderator of this section you pretty much always need to be good at coding!Quote:

I doubt that a moderator is supposed to edit threads with invalid/poorly coded codes, or stuff like that. There are no need for a moderator to know what C Sharp is, or any programming language in that case, since the section is pretty much the way it is right now due to all the people who flames eachother, spam, post binary and harass each and another.
Don't know what you guys think, but yeah..
Well I agree with you that coding knowledge isn't necessary.Quote:

Its not just about moving and organising threads, its about giving good informal feedback to users as you are looked upon as a person who has earned the position of being a moderator. Your the ambassador for the future of Conquers Game Hacking at ElitePvPers.
Anyone can organise threads, it takes a good moderator though to be able to answer questions...and this site is all about hacks and making them.
Coding is pretty much a must, considering how many questions are asked of moderators which are coding based. New users for example PM you about simple programming and it is the moderators job to give them good/informal information about this.
This is all coming from experience remember.
Hiyoal
That was when i left for a while due to numerous reasons, one of them was because virtually no one shares information in the community, but i decided to change that and start a wiki which will contain all information about Conquer.Quote:

But it's still helpfull!
My other disslike is that korvacs opend a half year ago a thread where he complained about the forum and stuff like "community sucks" and I don't really like to see a future Moderator who did this.
Point taken, we have said all we can say. Though our opinions vary we should leave it to the admins.Quote:
The best moderator around here doesn't know programming (Talking about John Dread).
I'm also sure most of the moderators don't know programming, although they all are very good.
Anyhow, we should really leave this thread, final point is that personality is needed, not programming skills - although it's good.
Thats a very big point you've made. Emme was a mass spammer wanting people to make him private servers. Through perseverance though and a change in character over time, Emme became a mod.Quote:

You should go back and read some of the things that Emme said before he was made a moderator, im pretty sure if your going off things that people have done in the past that he would never have been made a moderator if that had been considered durring his application
But i suppose its different for everyone.
You need a mod to close your threads and delete/clean your posts.Quote:
we need a moderator that is looking forward on doing his job. for example not closing a thread because a few noobs want to flame the person and they say #request close for a gay reason. i've seen this happen alot.
