Free FFXIV Fishing Bot, works with v2.3.5

Hey guys, thanks for letting me know. I'll try to get the bot updated asap.

I have no idea what happened here. There is nothing in the bot that would make it rename itself to .tmp

You say you don't have any anti-virus software running, but if I was you I would double check what background programs you have running.

Since my last msg, i installed avast, ccleaner, malwarebytes and spybot. I cleaned my PC with those tools and everything seems back to their normal behavior (and i can even download the bot w/o the issue i had yesterday ^^).

Are you playing the english version of the game?

If you are not then you need to change "Cast" and "Mooch" to whatever those two actions are called in the version that you are playing.

im playing on english version . the bot starts then ends after few sec

And what happens when you use the macro yourself, without the bot?

Do you get any errors?

UPDATE

I have just uploaded a new beta version of the bot. This version has a weather toggle button that allows you to select what weather conditions you want the fish to bot in.

Some things to keep in mind:
- The graphics are not finalized, currently everything is a place holder for now.
- As it's a beta release there may be bugs. Please report them in this thread.
- If the beta version does not run on your computer, then switch back to the old one and report the beta issue here.

Little feeback on the new version :
- Everything seems to works (except the name of the fish but it's not new).
- The weather option works even with the french client.

My only complaint is about the fact you have waited that i had all legendary fish to add this wonderful option... but i think we cant do anything about it ^^

I've downloaded the beta version but I won't have time to test it until tonight, got assignments that needs to be done ._.

Could you describe what names you see when you are running the bot?
I just tried the french version of the game and the bot seemed to work fine, so I'm not sure where the issue is.

I've ran the bot this morning before class, so far no problems or bugs.
It even recognized the weather changes when I was tabbed out of game.
I will keep using it when i'm home.

Question, is it possible to have the bot start at a certain time of day?
Don't know if that's reasonable, but just an idea!

Update: I've been working it for hours now, selected different weather and left it at the spot, it started and stopped without any problems or failures. So far no problems at all.

Update 2: I've tried it all day, didn't encounter any bugs, started/stopped during the weather I set it to.
I tried to test all the weathers but I didn't get to, tested most of them though and they work.
I will continue tomorrow, time for me to sleep!

The time thing is something I've been trying to add, but I've been having a hard time figuring out the best way to calculate the eorzea time. I tried looking for it in the memory of the game, but so far I've had no luck finding it, mainly since I have no idea what format it is stored as.
