Finding XYZ is essentially simple according to the tutorial:
First, I'll explain variables for people who don't quite understand what they mean. Imagine a piece of paper, laying flat, now draw a cross on the paper. One line is X, one line is Y. Now, imagine you take your pencil OFF the paper into the air. That is considered Z. Z is the height above, below, or even with the paper. Even with the paper would be Z = 0, Above would be positive numbers, below would be negative numbers.
Z: Is height, how high you are in the game this is affected by jumping or going up and down hills.
Y: Is moving using the up and down arrows on your keyboard.
X: Is moving your right and left arrows on the keyboard.
Now you need to determine which one you want to find first. For the sake of usefulness, we'll say you want to find "Z".
What you will need to do is open CheatEngine and attach it to Dragonica, and find all unknown values. Now, you'll need to increase or decrease Z. This is done by, walking up a hill to increase, or walking down a hill to decrease.
So, if you walk up the hill you need to Search for ALL values which have increased since your last search. If you walk down the hill you can search for all values which have decreased. You repeat this process walking up the hill, and down the hill searching each time until you're left with one "Pointer" or number. That number is associated with your "Z" coordinate in the game, and thus when you change that number either making it higher (You'll look like you jumped high) or lower (You'll be closer to the ground) you'll change how you are in the game.
You do something similar to find X and Y.
So, to find X, you take your player and you find all values unknown and then move your character using the Right arrow (For increased values) or Left arrow (for decreased values). So, find all unknown values, move right, search for increased values, move right again, search for increased values, move left, search for decreased values. This will allow you to find the Y coordinate, by eliminating other possibilities.
Now, to find Y, you repeat the process used in finding Y, only this time instead of moving Right to increase, you'll hit the up arrow on your keyboard, and the down arrow to decrease the value. Once again searching as you make changes until you've got one remaining value.
I hope this has been helpful. I might further go into explainations for his other stuff however at the moment I need to get back to work. Have a great day all!
