Try the karmic beta and the gnome shell 3 and i am sure u will be surprised...

I am upgrading now, I'm using ubuntu quite frequently for art, GIMP, KToon, Inkscape, Synfig studio and Blender 3D, hehe.
while WIndows is for software development and gaming.

after testing, Trying to emulate WIndows and they say about it a bad desktop. NO comment.

This is the completely reskinned Desktop Theme. WHen you hover over the callender Jacks head actually shows up :P

on a side note, i had considered doing something like this..didnt know if it would be cool...my opnion is as long as there is no Nudity or anything people might find offensive then this thread can remain open.
