here's the simple tut for that...
1. first download all those 3 downloadable files in the first page... the phyton.msi, komextractor, and komcompactor...
2. after downloading it... run phyton.msi and have it installed in your computer...
for extracting .kom files here's what you should do...
1. extract the komextractor... after extractin it youll find two files inside it...
2. now create a folder named after the .kom file you were about to extract... (ex. you're going to extract sound.kom... create a folder named sound).
3. now copy the sound.kom file from the gc folder you wanted to extract and paste it inside the sound folder you just created, also copy the two files from the extractor folder which is the phyton file and the komextractor.bat and paste it in the sound folder together with the sound file you are about to extract... over all there should be three files inside the sound folder...
4. now run the komextractor.bat and a dos-based window will appear... just type in the name of the folder you created in my example it's sound then hit enter... then that's it... the sound.kom will be extracted into mp3 files...
5. after that you will be prompted if you want to extract another file type 0 for yes and type 1 for no... or you can just close the dos-based window after succesfully extracting the files...
for archiving the files you just extracted and reverting it back to .kom file here's what you should do...
1. extract the komcompactor and just like the kom extractor it contains two files... a phyton file and compact.bat file.
2. now create a folder and name it archives.
3. now copy the phyton file as well as the compact.bat file from the komcompactor folder you just extracted and paste it inside the archives folder you just created.
4. now create another folder inside that archives folder you just created and name it kom...
5. you should have there 3 files: a folder named kom, a phyton file, and the compact.bat file...
6. now paste the files to be archived inside the kom folder you just created...
7. now run the compact.bat file and a dos-based window will show...
8. now type in kom by which is the name of the folder you just created also it will be the type of file to be archived.
9. after that type in the name for the .kom file... from my earlier example we extract sound.kom so you must name it sound...
10. if successful you should have there sound.kom file
11. if youre done you can just close that window.
that's it...
i hope its clear now....
