Funny enough, there have been both speed and damage "exploits" in the past with Silkroad. Nothing like the OP was intending to ask about, but they did exist at one time.
Damage hack - The Euro damage wrap around bug using a low level character and specific skills. I never knew the details of it, but you could one shot anything in game. This bug was also in other Silkroad versions.
Speed hack - Academy buff bug where the +%20 speed (as well as dmg/absorb) would stack due to a server bug of not tracking how many buffs were active. You could also crash clients if you had over 255 active buffs since Joymax had a 1 byte field for it.
Then, let's not forget about the gold dupe bug that was exploited a couple years ago. Of course the people that did that were stupid in mass duping and causing server rollbacks, I lost 2 sos 16 bows from that -.-
