Not buying, i should maybe clarify, getting leveled for gained honor to desired or designed level. Allowing a player to skip a region he is not satisfied with and promote another region with more alluring loot from quests and events for that degree.
I must point out that is something we will determine upon testing time spent needed to level via usual means (XP boost in %) and cut that to viable margin that would allow player to keep playing the region he desires without forcibly pushing him out of the region simply leveling him just by killing same mobs.
We all had experience with RPGs cutting farming time with solutions such as diminishing experience gained for repetitive monster type kills.
This would be a merge of those systems allowing more content for the region and sufficient gratification for endgame content.
And ill point out that most of private servers ultimately force player to play their version of Silkroad that just takes different means of forcing you to tasks in order to receive content instead of offering you options how to consume all the content you have gotten trough questing and exploring.
I dont even need to point at the items we all just glaze trough in midgame and endgame simply cause it has no worth, and it has no worth simply cause its worth was taken in order to be applied to a new object of desire further down the endgame path making every content ingame fake and obsolete.
I enjoy exploring silkroad, i enjoy doing quests but feel empty after not getting gratification, i love PVP there is no gratification for pvp, its a mere luxury in current servers, we dont have VALID trading, we have forced trading not valid trading inspired by gain of some value (either it is d evaluated via gold inflation like overlimit or absolutely no gratification on pvp servers and "special" servers), guild wars have no gratification , forced fw, how many forgotten worlds edits have you seen and how much great content does it have, party wars have no gratification, unique kills are forced as much as possible, events happen on jangan/dw/sama pvp and H&S is main weapon of every server, changed balances to force a class, disabled class i can point out so many things i dont like on sro servers but i do like the game. And i would like to modify it in that manner that old school players would see it as a good and balanced way of doing things as well as approaching people who just cant find themselves on servers that are currently online.
