[Help] Problems with launching server.

really ... last we tried it didn't work on anything above 4.0 ... thats strange maybe it got upgraded :D

I believe the newer db's out can handle an upgraded Mysql server. I know I've tested the newer ones on Mysql 5 and they seem to work fine.

You can't use MYSQL 4.1 anymore especialy after the Paladin version i tried it alot but never worked you must get Mysql v4.0 and i think that willn't affect gunz as Gunz should use Microsoft SQL server

That problem isn't related to his mysql version, its related to the checks that the msgserver does against the tables in the db. I know for a fact that the Newer versions of the db (Manne and later) will work with Mysql 5.0 without any problems.

i have always ran it with 5.0 on my local computer since i do work on co servers built to take advantage or the extras in it :P never really noticed it didn't mess legions anymore

Told you, but they are working fine with MySQL6dev because using WoW as a server xD

well upgrading to 5 or 6dev will help with the inodb or whatever it is XD i cant rember what its called
