I haven't got the glow working yet, but everything else works fine.

And you can dual wield it, and it functions perfectly like a blade? Do you get FB with it automatically? I should be on the armor by tomozz, we'll hook up and get each other thru it if we can.

Armor took no additional effort either....

thats cool tao, im glad it isnt hard for you. Unfortunately im not familiar with this enough. I tried for days, really. I dont ask for much help, and i certainly dont try to annoy anyone by begging for help. If you wanna help thats cool, seriously. If you dont, thats cool too. Hopefully in the near future i can say "what was i thinking?!", but that time aint now. And i got a full plate of other things that were waiting on this, it was literally a log jam. Im sorry, but i just can't guess at what you did to get them in.

Don't copy item ids.
The client sends the equip slot to the server based off item ids it "knows."

i didnt. I gave them all unique ID's which start after the standard sword IDs. (420340 is my Metal katana, then on through them all.) I just got finished with Alex's instructions, and it aint working. The only reference to the old ID is for the Mesh, Tex, and icons. Now i can hold the wep, with alex's code. and i dont get the error for item use, i can even attack with it, but i cant see it >.<! I then tried it on a clean server, to see if i was getting a conflict between some of the mods, since i've altered some of them even. The errors i keep getting have to do with the stats i think. But i've double checked, and then some over 4 days now.

edit - somethin is up with my client, i havent cross checked with other gears until to night, the errors are across the board for all gears. attempting to fix.

I took all the files needed for Ninja, and carried them over to v5016.

I currently have the Ninja jump/walk, Katana behind back, Katana glowing, etc.

It's not hard; and I will work on the rest tomorrow.

LetterX I am very sure you got some bugs when i tryed I put ninja in Tq binares few bugs we saw examples not to name any player not to see the monsters you can see the name of the player and the monsters? post a screen shoot if you can see the player name and NPC name and more blaa bla btw guys nice job

No, he can avoid those bugs by not using those god damn binaries.

I'm using LOFT source on patch 5017.

I have never touched the binaries, and I do not intend to.

ya i working now whit LOFT i know in LOFT you can add anything you want right??
