I bot because watching your character grind itself is more fun than doing it.
Being able to step away and hope when you come back you have some nice drops.
I like to play the game though, I can hand grind for hours, it doesn't bother me.
I am not sure what I'd call "REAL LIFE", maybe living is as "REAL" as it gets, waking up in the morning, the normal stuff.
Just lucky enough to have a girl to share it with.

My character never received any ongfarming, and even a 9gap is hard to farm. Even if you buy premium and so on, it takes for ages to farm a character to the max.
After a got to a certain point i decided not to play anymore with the hands, playing 1 hour and getting only 0.7-0.8%, struggling with killstealers, struggling with Disconnects (and also deaths) .. after that point i tried first AgBot, but short after it, i used TBot and it did very well on that time :D
So my main point was the farming point, i were able to lvl in parties (got a Wizzie/Cleric) but farming aint possible with hands for me, i never had the time for it.
Btw: Usin Sbot now <3

i actually bot to :
1-save my RL time i don't have all day for sro
2-i will go blind to get high lvl by hand grinding
3- im not that kind of players that have prem all time so i get exp so hard
4-to be able to job,pvp and war cuz now ppl under 80 or 90= getting owned :S

I used to be dead set against botting but after 4 years I got tired of seeing people that started at the same time I did leaving me in the dust. I personally think that botting has really hurt the game, but there is no way to compete unless you bot. i wish botting was not part of sro but since it is, I will bot too
