CIDProxy and 5Bot Discussion

use it or lose it.. as much ive enjoyed ppl using cid and been popping theyr asses, i just looked up 5bot how to get it and.. eh doesnt look that tempting. i remember sv from a long time a go which was usefull till somepoint but cid.. at somepoint it became pointless hence ppl learned how to fraps it.

I would have to agree with IKillBabies on what he wants. I don't think this is hypocritical however. I would like a free and premium version of Cid or 5bot. I can't pay for it because I don't have the means to do so. I only used Cid for about a month and I loved it. However, I think someone with skills like Extreme has should get paid for his work.

It doesn't matter to me much but I would use a free version of Cid. People need money and if donations don't cut it, charging people is the next option. Maybe a free version with only auto hunt and speedhack. Only having ahunt w/o aloot would make people want it and !c w/o !c2 would also make people want it.

Off topic I must say both IKillBabies and Noob2008 are showing people aren't all idiots on forums :)

this is a kick ass discussion lol.... it has me interested cuz im leaning to both sides on this, all of the arguers have a real good point, exept i dont think there seeing IKillBabies point on all of this. i do see that he should defently get some cash for his time and effort but the way i was raised, you treat people how u wanna be treated, u scratch my back ill scratch yours lol, and the list goes on but i do think that he should not have tq`d us, he had a leginament bot and he had it up for free, got a few takers and shoved his foot up there ass lol but i do agree he does deserve cash so i do think a good solution would be to release a slight part of 5 bot and go through and take out the real good features but leave like 5 or 6 and that would make both parties happy

Let me enlighten you on the situation.
CID Proxy was getting me nowhere. It was bringing in no income, it was wasting my time, it was creating spam on the forums. It's old code, piled on top of old code, a bitch for me to update (since CID Proxy is basically nProxy,Pro-Proxy, and QOProxy, just added and improved code).

I've had donations up for months, and have only received one $5 donation... Ads brought in no money.

CID Proxy was leeched too much, and nobody was doing anything in return. I HATE leechers.

It was fine while I was in high school, I didn't really need the money , but college is a totally different situation. Thus, I shut down CID Proxy. It was ruining CO (as if it wasn't already by TQ), and driving TQ to make anti-bot patches/fixes. So, I shut it down and left only 5bot going.
It's cheap enough for everyone to buy, but expensive enough for leechers to avoid, and does not interfere much with the game. It's main purpose is botting (of course still hs aimbot), but its made to look a lot more realistic.


So, don't comment on my decisions, as I had good reasons (far too many) to shut down CID Proxy.

I think U missed the point. He's the creator of the proxy he is under absolutely no obligation to produce or to continue new or old properties of his. whether u think its a necessity or not. U have absolutely NO say whatsoever. and neither have u the right to complain. U don't have a leg to stand on. as i said before, be quiet or pay up. and on top of that, if the guy is spending most or all his time to keep these hacks going, when does he have time to work to pay his tuition? oh wait these hacks are his work. so lets just insist that he make his work free regardless of how he feels or how much time he has to devote to his work. Be quiet noob.

But you make it seem as though that's the only route. Everyone that is not a leech hates a leech. But your comment on how CID was ruining CO does not make much sense to me. From what I hear, 5bot is a much superior bot; it even says that on your website. So I would have to say 5bot is killing CO an equal amount, if not more.

I also don't like how I am coming off on this. I don't have any hard feelings on this or anything. Really, I don't even play CO that much. I just felt like hearing people's opinions from both sides, and chose my own. I still respect your independent programming capabilities, I understand how much time you put into it. But you seem like you think that everyone who does not subscribe to your bot is a leech. I am sure there are tons of people who very much appreciate your work, but have absolutely no method of buying it. Those are the people that get screwed.

I do think you should be rewarded. I don't think people who cannot pay should be left in the dust. I am not saying my opinion has any effect whatsoever. I started this just to hear people's opinions, not to start some sort of flame war. If I were to have it my way, I would have the bot have auto hunt and auto loot - everything else costs you. Maybe even make some hacks cost more than others. Again, I understand that this would take a complete remake of the interface of the bot. Not to mention figuring out how to make the bot uncrackable. It is a great bot, much better than all before it. Trust me, I know. I have used almost every proxy that has come onto this site.

Sorry for the double post. I had no intention on replying to this until I bothered to read it. I did not say my words had any effect on his work. I simply stated my opinion and argued it. I wanted to hear his opinion, and I got it. Not to accuse you of anything, but I see there is not real point in arguing with you. You don't seem to read much of what I write, and your personality seems to be that of a kind of 'suck up' one - no offense intended. But people who tend to follow people blindly are not usually debating material.

And no need to call names, this is not a flame thread. Keep the maturity in it.

First of All: U started this thread by saying that he was "hypocritical"

second of all: to everyone else-- get ur waders on, it's getting deep.

I think that some people cant buy over the net like me......:(!So he should post the latest CidProxy.And he should get Awarded for the talent!!! He can sell the Cid but he should post the Cid over time.........Lots of people need it here to fight Bulkers......If that cant be done!!then make little hack for us like autojumper,cyclone,DHcyclone etc.Ty for understanding

There's no free lunch in this world... If you want something, either you trade it with something else or you buy it with your cash. He is the creator, he has every right to do anything to his programs.

If you wanna use it, buy it... its that simple... and i think you should stop contradicting yourself saying he should be rewarded and yet saying he should keep some of the basic hack working making it free..

If you are programmer yourself (which i am not), you should know how much work is needed to keep both programs updated.

Please be fair to him and stop arguing... If you like his work, just pay him a mere $5 per month.. if you cannot afford it, then don't complain.... If you feel TQ is ripping everyone off, then stop playing their games...

as it all seems cid was a good idea since what it comes to my server most of the cid users got botjailed.. but still ppl using herc r wiv out it.. whats the difference on 5bot.. been there done that.. nothing new as what i see..

I have not contradicted myself. There is nothing contradicting about saying he should be rewarded, and keep at least two free hacks. He would still make a great deal of money, and possibly more. Keeping two free hacks would allow people to have a small taste of 5bot, the ones that didn't get to try CID.

And to your last paragraph, not everyone can pay online. Not everyone is old enough. It's not always a matter of affording or not. It could be anything, age or location.

But I want to make it clear, I did not contradict myself.

And, how can you not feel that TQ is ripping you off?

yeah... not all people can afford... and hacking is same as stealing... why bother playing if you just getting stronger by just paying and botting its just a game nothing more... try playing with skills and brains its much worthed
