[Guide] Common Problems Preventing Login

This error is displayed when the client could not connect to the authentication / account server. Check the IP address and port in the client. Restart it after a change is made and try again. Make sure your ports are open as well and that you're using a publicly accessible IP address or domain."

Yup I'm also having the server maintenance error, for me though it's due to the loader itself. Ports and IP are correct but something changed and I have no idea what to search for in the exe to correct it in the loader source >.<

I'm using the throne source

How to solve this?

Client Hangs on black screen with no loading bar.
This problem occurs on patches 5174 and higher that use the RC5 seed packet (1059), or that use a new password cipher. If the client hangs here and the server is not receiving any packets, that's because the client is waiting on the 1059 packet. If the server is receiving packets, then the server is not programmed to handle the packets being received.

Client Hangs on "Connecting to the account server".
If the client hangs here, it means that you're not handling a packet correctly. Most likely, you're not handling the account authorization packet (1051, 1086, or 1060), or not sending back the authentication forward packet (1055)."

Did you allow access to those ports/programs in your Windows Firewall?

I have... But to me knowing it doesn't receive a packet or what not doesn't realy make me say "Oh now I know how to fix it"...

Debug the source. If the client isn't connecting, then it's your client or server configuration. If it is connecting, then it's the server and you have to debug it.

i got the 6030 server and client,
But i think that the loader isn't giving the right IP & Port to connect to the server,
which loader should i use ?

I always got this. even the configuration is correct.

maybe, but when I use the ConquerLoaderV5 the player's can login, when I use the cracked .exe it won't work it say's failed to connect...... is there's someting wrong on the Conquer.exe? (I use the hamachi for testing)

Sounds like a bad crack then. If it's the old client, you can just edit server.dat. Otherwise, just use the loader or make your own loader rather than cracking conquer.exe. Tends to be easier to maintain / update that way.

Having issues with 5017 client, would connect with hamachi ip but when i bought a VPS it gives me the msg "Server maintenance. Please try again later! "
