Sessionserver crashed

yes , yes , and at sesion server i get that error.

afaik, there are 2 types of session server error ...

1) the common is SP_Login_Flag_Failed. Server doesn't existed or access denied. this happen because of session server cannot connect to your sql. did your firewall and antivirus make expection/unblock for the Session Server and 1433 port? (my recommendation, full scan the whole server folder, if it is clean then make put in expection/allow or whatsoever)

2) like the one LeQuebecoisqc had, which i have no idea ...

this is the error that I've been trying to get past, I cant seem to figure out the problem, I've have firewall turned off, I've got config file setup right and port is open, Im running server on Quadecore xp service pack 2 with 5Gigs of ram, I've also setup OBDC with pw and without pw required, neither of them work even though they do test successfull each time. when I run the SN txt file threw the analysis, should I save file when prompted?


I fix this just by running the session server a few times after it crashed. It finally remained stable, and only using about 2.3Gigs of ram with server fully up.

Im using dekaron serverfiles english that I downloaded from here, atm the client I have doesnt work, changed all ip's but all I get is disconnected error, so if someone knows what the deal is, let me know, either here or Pm.

tell me :P using Microsoft server 2000 dev edition or MSDE 2000?

i have the same problem, Registration work without problems...firewall is deactive, and the session Server doesnt work....iam using MSSQL 2000 SP4, and i runned the SQL Anlyzer with the commands form the sn.txt. I replaced the IP in the .ini Files with my Hamachi IP... The server crashed and called >> CRITICAL ERROR : SP_LOGIN_FLAG_SET PROC CALL FAIL back(event.log).

About this issues it could be many differents things :S When I had this problem I was using msde then I switched to sql server 2000 developper edition added sp4 and security fix. Maybe out subject but what your computer config?
