Why does everyone wait for Aion?

It's cool, yes, but there are better games.

there are good games but the thing is that Aion is suppose to be like a more realistic looking version of WoW with WONDEROUS pvp and pve and then the fighting system is sorta like wow.... when u say play something different u dont realize that EVERY!!! good no sorry GREAT game u say is better u must pay for and this is suppose to b free2play ^^:bandit:

I already have the game and a registed acc, and i can play it too, the problem is the language, everything are in chinise, some1 know any translator for aion( i talked with 1 guy who got it but he dont want to send me this :S)

i have installed aion successfully (i think)
but when i launch the game i get an error
(see attachment)
(i know the error is in dutch, sorry for that
but it means the AionClient doesn't work)
can somebody help me with this?

you must download the ENU.PAK file (sorry, i dont remember where i downloaded it, maybe you can find it with google) and copy this file to your L10N map in program files --> aion. make sure your pc is on english (US), else it doesnt work. Then restart your pc and you have aion in english.

i still got problems with launching aion
CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME?

trying to get this ENU.pak to work. I tried a couple different methods, but they all crash the game when it tries to load.

1: I've tried copying just the ENU.pak into the L10N folder. Makes the game crash.

2: I've tried duplicating the CHS folder and renaming it ENU and leaving the ENU.pak in there. MAkes the game crash.

3: I've tried removing the CHS and the CHS.pak from the folder and the game redownloads them.

4: Last thing i'm goin to try is replacing the CHS folder and CHS.pak with the ENU and renaming the ENU file to CHS....idk anyone have anything?
