Mostly, the bsod occours while the machine is running windows 7. I never runned into a bsod using winxp.

Im running windows 7 and the BSOd has not occured as ulti's patch shouldve fixed it, (did for me at least)

I didn't got a bsod even at the first patches. i only get bsod when the zqftwhatsoever antivirus is called is running. i need to delete the tqav folder in order to launch the game w/o problems.

I get this error.

System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\AcidCo\update.exe' is denied.

at System.IO.File.Delete(String path)
at OACOPlay.Form1.timer1_Tick(Object sender, EventArgs e)

at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.TimerNativeWindow.WndPr oc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)

any idea how to fix that?

Try running it as administrator, seems like a permission problem with your Windows.

Run pley.exe as administrator, What windows are you running? Is your account an administrator or limited? All these questions your not telling us, when the autopatcher updates it will download the patch and put the data into a update.exe and after its done it will delete it, its failing to delete it, try a restart and run as admin.

Otherwise get your current version(in version.dat - Open with notepad), Goto [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] and manually download and install the patches, OR if you goto that link theres a patch at the very bottom called PlayFix.exe, try downloading that and then trying again.

i've tried everything what you said in your post. Running the play.exe as admin all the time. And my account is an admin anyway. I'm running windows 7. I've tried also downloading & installing patches manually didn't help.
I get a Netframework initialization error when updatetime.exe trying to run, might be that? Well if that's the case then i'm screwed up since i cant fix my problem with netframework.

Well had to post after going to the website after so long and saw the Online in green was a surprise rushed my ass to here to see i missed the initial release. So looking forward to it, only reason i'd come back to play.

Long live Ultimation! Been waiting for this.

Right click > Run as administrator
