Warrior+Cleric OR Warrior+Warlock?

i think ill go bard lol
because i do bigger dmg on bind - bard debuff, and dull which is shield crush

if u want to survive - choose cleric
if u want to piss people off - choose warlock

Let me add some stuff to lopasas's list,
If you want to be a party player and fake warrior< ment as the in party way by buffing people ; cleric
If you want to rule in PvP; Warlock
Probably better for boting ; cleric < Hate to admit it but the health regen is pretty usefull so you waste less pots.

My choice is Warlock =D

warlock has the skills that chinese char's have ..from Force witch decreases their atacks... defends.. etc...
i had a warrior - warlock .. IT OWNED! u have to try it .. seriosly man.. u will own ;)

put it this way, 2h/warlock is a good fun build but i wouldnt recommend it. i was full farmed 2h/cleric and everyone was raving over warlock as their sub so i decided to part with my money and de-level cleric and add warlock. i know its alot due to preference but i really couldnt be arsed with all the debuffing. like i said, personal preference. so again i parted with my cash and went back to warrior cleric.

the idea behind a tanker is to be a tanker! strange huh? your job in mass parties is to keep the rest of the party taking dmg while your rockin your skins+bless. the rest of the party is to deal dmg not you, so why take warlock? sure its good for pvp. but sro isnt a pvp game. its based around team v team. be it guild wars job wars or even FW. you want to be as much of a team player as you can. warlock doesnt do this as well with warrior as cleric does.

I agree on most things you said.
except the pvp / team vs team ... If you are CLERIC keeping everyone alive, when will you ever use your main class WARRIOR. Instead you run around like a lil pansy curing everyone when your main class is WARRIOR. Team vs Team there are CLERICS curing you and shit loads of them AND, people screaming " WARRIOR BUFFS QUOTA PLZ", why do you want to be a CLERIC in a war anyway? having WARLOCK as sub gives a twist to how you play, change style when suits you best. SRO is PVP AND TEAM why the fuck did they invent capes lol?
CLERIC doesn't help your defense either well there's bless, but what happens to your WARRIOR buffs?
In wars your job is to protect the Wizards and the rest? Not heal people, because trust me recovery division ain't going to help shit with 2H on agaist 6,7,8 people.
Both are good in PVP. Both die, etc...
If you don't know how to play WARRIOR / WARLOCK and aren't really fast with ur mind/ fingers, best stay with CLERIC ... much easier to play, and you can just stand there with recovery division while the real WARRIORS lure, protect, etc.

Enough of the rant. I love Warriors IMO they are up there with Wizards, As I have both I do play my Wizard most, Wizard/Cleric. And BTW, the only time I ever stay Cleric is AFK. I am 100% WIZARD, that is why he is A Wizard/Cleric.

One more thing. It is nice to join grinding partys (Full Euro) and you can be Warrior, the whole reason you made your char. to be honest CLERIC is boring.

For everyone who thinks War/Cler is better as War/Lock try this;

Make a new char, farm it so it has enough SP for lv 44 Warrior & Warlock skills, level it to 44, and try taking on lv 50 guys, with a little practice you'll know how to use the build and you can easely win from then, even lv 60 nukers can be killed this way by your 44 warrior.

I have a warrior cleric, I love it, mass defence when needed in pvp ;-) bless spell, iron/mana skin = 0wn4g3

PvP Warrior-Cleric / or Warlcok-Cleric
PvE Warrior-Warlock

Warrior/Cleric overall build.

you dont want to be good in just 1 thing you want to be good overall, take Warrior/Cleric

Who say's Warrior/Warlock is bad in PvE? ;)

You can also cast debuffs on the mobs, Making them weaker etc.. :D

no doubt warlock is a very good build but its just not for me, i like cleric for a reason and ill stand by that until 10D comes and we will have a completley new dimension to think about

warrior+warlock is better then warrior+cleric trust me

warrior / cleric is better in guild wars.

basically warlock as a sub makes your char more of a solo player. guess what! euro's are designed for party play. funny huh? there is no "Better Build" its just what most fits your gaming style. personaly i prefer cleric. and alot of people prefer warlock. that doesnt mean to say that warlock is better. what most of people are using for evidence is saying "go pvp with warlock you will pwn". Im sorry, but pvp against me with holyspell and my buffs raging and you wont stand much of a chance.

your better against most other builds yeah but dont go around thinking your unbeatable..

AND the game isnt a pvp game, sure it has the feature like most mmorpg's but that isnt what the game is based around. go play Warhammer if you want that. this game is pretty much a party play game

I coulden't have said it better, pieman your right too bad still alot of people talking about "the best build ".
I want to add one thing, Its all about how you play your char not what build you have.

i think warrior/cleric cause u never die: full str,bless spel,healing cycle,recovery division and you are immun vs all stast (holy world) and warr+cleric good in mobs killing and in pvp warr+warlock good in pvp (CHN chars) and party killing cause stun and sleep the mobs and debuff(than wizz attack) so chose the warrior+cleric build^^
