not being rude or anything like that sword but u need more exp about the antivirus stuff , itis just false positive virus alert‏ , eset is knowing to pick so many false virus positives try another antivirus software like avira i never had problem with it

did you ever think to look at the bottom of every page? same as every single other website Ive made?
it isnt an issue as far as the server goes because it is not managed by me.. but "I" designed the website and it most definately has a linkback not just on one page but every page(same as all of my websites) I left it as it is to see if it would make it this far before you actually "checked" the website

a suggestion towards the policies here: considering Ive been subject to a particularly large amount of problems with keeping my servers posted here and with bad publicity because of lack of experience or communication I feel particularly qualified to make this suggestion...which is plain and simple
BEFORE you add remove alter or otherwise adjust a persons post about their server or your own staff comments about the server CONTACT them to verify the legitimacy of said comments adjusments or alterations.... this simple addition to your policies on this particular part of the forum will save you guys a LOT of complaints

I appologize in advance if this message offends anyone as that is not my intention but to avoid this happening to me or others in hte future

Not sure how it's done now, but back when I bothered checking linkbacks all I did was open the link, pull up the source, and search for elitepvpers. If no link was found I removed the link and if one was found I checked it to make sure it was visible. There is no real need to contact anyone about it.

A linkback should be visible to the people visiting the page. If someone is going to your site to purposefully look for the linkback and doesn't find it, then chances something's wrong with it. It's pretty simple.

@All Sword isn't staff and is doing this on his own time. If you find this thread useful, don't be a jerk (No. I don't mean you idlemonkey). If you don't find this thread useful, stop wasting your time reading this thread and go away!:D

@Sword your OP says a site without a linkback will be blue for one week, but below that in a quote it says sites without a linkback will be removed within 12 hours. Maybe it's time to go over your post and clean things up a little. ;)

but let me explain something realy quick
that virus report was indeed a virus but not from his download link
i got more reports by now and seems it came from the ads that showed on the PRE download page
as they dit not answer on my email ( still waiting a reply from them) dit i remove those ads

as that page shows on every link ( unless you are premium ) and only show you the option to choose to free download or to become premium was it kinda useless to post that virus warning next to him as all links get that page

so please , if you find again a virus or a virus warning or somthing strange that does not belong there , let me know

The files itself can never contain a virus on the site , those files are encrypted and can not even get executed (feel free to try, hard with forced download , rewriting on the fly and with non extention files)

I agree with you fully which is why even on the templates I make for other people they have linkbacks on every page in the normal place for linkbacks and affiliates (in the footer) which to me is where something advertising another site should be (not in the main body of the page to draw attention away from your own product)
but what I was refering to when I mentioned contacting people was a sugestion on things before they write inflamatory things that give a server bad publicity ( or at least remove them) the policy should not be to emberrass your clients but to be efficient... Even the policy you mentioned above of removal until said pre requisets are met would have been a lot better way to deal with it rather than write things about it in a public forum

Welcome to epvp so many people here act like children and the rest are, with the exception of myself of course :p

i still claim TrinityEO and i'm not changing from it i am thinking about remaking my old server for the people who played on it.

Could you please update the average player online for my server please. usely around 30-50 online
