not many people share on elitepvp these days, back in the old days people released stuff in mass amounts, full releases

I guarantee you it would take a hell of alot more than a couple of days to code something like FR's 13 quest, Eurion knows what he is talking about and it took him a good 6 months and thats after we had to cut the quest short.Quote:

Ever thought that maybe the reason we don't release much anymore is for the fact that when we do people whine about what we have released, or could it be that they are just never happy you release 1 thing but they want more.Quote:

louise im not saying anything like that, im saying back then people would release simple things like skills and pets, with query and ini files, assuming everyone is still using the revo DB

Well really it isnt that hard to take a query from another release and make it work for a new set of pets/items NPC's even, you just need the common sense but unfortunately "some" people are lacking in this area. lol
But again some people will take what you have worked hard on to release and claim it for their own, I think this is one of the main reasons why alot of members just don't bother anymore.
That and the fact that there are so many releases on here for all different kinds of things if people can't make a decent server out of what is already here then they dont need to be making one period.
If people are unwilling to learn then I for one am unwilling to help them, alot of members now want you to do all the work for them they dont want to learn.

I agree with u on that one, thing is alot , not all of the people on here dont speak fluent english and many more arent like even 15 years old , so to them query and coding is like BC calculus
