[Guide] Two Simple xml Edits

These are patched up and don't work as far as this method goes.
Petboost method: The skill will run infinitely, but the boost doesn't.
Charge method: You are back to regular attacking distances, not shortened (or lengthened).

Does this work in r79? I can't get the .dll edit for the unlimited boost to work.

Unlimited boost in general has been patched, the timer is now server sided so you'll have the skill icon up but you'll run at normal speed when the server's timer runs out.

If you want the mod then you can do it yourself. The resources are all ready on a platter for you in this thread...if you can't do it, then it just means you can't edit with a simple program such as Notepad.

I've already tested the solution posted in this thread. I thought he meant it was available through other means, in which case, I was asking for proof that he was able to get it to work. I'd rather like to not be sent on a pointless quest to make this work on the words of only one person.

srry but I'm a new person to this but what do you do after you extract the file into xml and edit the var 1? I don't know how to compress it back into the package file. I tried to search for a tutorial or guide but can't find one. Help?

Put it in the respective folder in your Data folder, then repack it with the data packer.
