it's math, exactly like flipping a coin. luck? you could call it that.
the success rate (for example 20%) will apply to the whole, not the current one. even if you fail the other "fail item" or what you called it, your chanches of failing to enchant the item you want to are the very same.
it's cannot be changed by enchanting multiple items "at once", so to speak.

after all these years I tried all paths that were listed in this thread and this is the only way to succeed. At last I made my +9. :handsdown:

Do alchemy on one weapon with lucky on dress and premium and calculate how many immortals and elixirs you need based on your luck %. If you have a +6 and you wanna make it +7 and your success chance is 20 % then you should have a + 7 in five tries and so on.

Also, some servers have a higher chance of success than others.

What I can say for sure is that you close your visual buffs leave any party and dismiss vehicles or pets before doing any alchemy and avoid crowded areas.
