I really hate gm commands. They cause more issues than anything these days. Hell, bugs with pxi just don't end. Fix one and another comes along to take it's place because the one before it was masking the new one.

Bug #2 with @unlockjob
- Switching jobs after @unlockjob crashes the server.
-- This happens when a player uses the command then runs to their mog house to change their main job.
-- Fix: Make sure players set their sub job to something before changing the main job or stop using gm commands.. /sigh

No, there is no support beyond lvl 75 and not much content beyond ToAU.

Yea, but the Auction House doesn't work and is disabled so kinda pointless. There are a few conversations back in the thread on this regarding the AH.

Server Update Release 6.5f!

This will be the last official DLX update. The 6.5 code we started with is just far too buggy to bother with anymore. Fixed what we could added what we could and that is that.

Two different versions are being released this time. One of them will show error messages and the other will not. This is to offer a choice instead of forcing one way or the other. The 6.5fe will only show errors related to external lua messages.

DLX v6.5f - Doesn't show error messages.
DLX v6.5fe - Shows some error messages.

Update Notes:

Trade Switch:
- In the pxi.ini is a new switch to enable/disable trade.
-- This is set to 0 by default to disable. Change to 1 to enable.
--- Use at your own risk. Trade is confirmed to lock the server.
If you don't have ALLOWTRADE = 0 in your pxi.ini file just add it to the bottom.

Change job Bug:
- Changing jobs crashes the server.
-- Patched needs further testing for confirmation.
--- Server stopped crashing in my tests.

Both Versions are available in the OP.

Anyone who has added the updates and fixes in the db including the map/magic keeping
would like to upload would be great.

I had tried the import older svn db and import the character setting but
all I did was just bugger up my game.Deleted the db re-install of the db and tried again, same thing happened.

Also would be nice if the persons who also did fixing on the lua scripts would upload those as well.

I'm not asking for DarkStar files, I'm just asking the people that fixed their own db and scripts to up theirs. It would help a lot of us so we can all be on the same page, and work through this until DarkStar is ready.

ok i tried this new version and i get some weird zoning glitches like zoning from bastoks mh, and also i see character key needs to be updated alot, what does that mean?

Messages mostly for debugging. Server is saying the char key needs an update then updates it. Message has been there a really long time just disabled in previous versions. If your not into debugging the server/etc then just ignore them.

Bastok zoning if your getting stuck in the world when zoning out of the MH to bastok markets then check your LUA file to be sure it's set right to catch the player and put them in the proper position.

ill check but in previous version of the program the zones work fine,
do you have any updated lua files online anywhere to download?

and sometimes i get this glitch where a players items and gil will disappear until you change jobs and zone, very irritating

Don't have any additional lua files, not hard to open them up and make the changes yourself though.

Player items disappearing is typically caused by server admins changing player's backpack/mog sack/mog safe sizes in the SQL. Couple of others have mentioned that anything over 49 slots causes this. Never pinpointed the actual problem so it could be SQL, could be server side or could be light luggage.

Unfortunately there is no ongoing testing with the DLX server anymore so impossible to find where the problem is. People like to report problems but not possible solutions, very irritating. :)

Существуют две серьезные ошибки, вызывающие потерю предметов инвентаря :
- потеря пакетов в сети (очень редкая)
- ошибка формирования имен пакетов в функции quePacket "%.2X_0_%.8X_%.4X_%.2X" (самая серьезная и частая). Дело в том, что имена формируются на основании текущего времени добавления пакета, но бывает ситуация, когда время добавления пакетов одинаковое и тогда они сотритуются по их IDs. 0x1D пакет отправляется раньше последнего 0x20. Клиент думает, что обновление инвентаря не завершено и предметы не отображаются.

Пример: 00_0_27568458_5555_20 и 00_0_27568458_5555_1D (оба пакета добавлены в одно и тоже время, в одну и ту же миллисекунду). Хотя 0x1D пакет был добавлен позже, но к клиенту он уйдет раньше 0x20, т.к. std::<map> отсотрирует их в последовательности 0x1D, 0x20 (по единице и двойке). Надеюсь, что здесь все понятно.

Обе проблемы решены в DarkStar Server.
