It's Sro-R system, yes masteries like sro-r, you level cold per example, light and fire will level aswell. So you can have a Weapon mastery + all force masteries (except force from sro, here it's called recovery mastery).

With this system you will not see any "old" glavie force spamming debuffs with a shield.

isro implemented same skills/quests system as sror has. It's been a while since they did it.

Yes pure int builds can go full force+recovery, chinese wizard/lock style.
