127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.xxx.xxx L2authd.lineage2.com
Provider IP L2authd.lineage2.com

I have a router and what I have done just change my

Set.ini:

[usa] = localhost
to
[usa] = 192.168.1.5

I have too agree with Xander...if someone has it working plse just copy and paste ur details to make it easy. Corben has his working but doesn't say if thats his host file or Set file.

ok lets see, ill try and put all the steps in one post

Step 1. find out your computers ip

XP:
1)Start
2)Run
3)type "cmd" then enter (Dos Thingy)
4)type "Ipconfig /all" then enter

Step 2. find out your providers ip

Step 3. Change the set ini in L2Walker from localhost too your computers ip

Step 4. go to the Windows folder/System32 folder/Drivers folder/etc folder, after youve opened each one of the them, in the etc folder are 4 items the first is call hosts, open this with wordpad

change from:-
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 localhost

change too:-
127.0.0.1 localhost
192.***.*.*** L2authd.Lineage2.com (your pcs ip)
80.***.***.*** L2authd.Lineage2.com (your providers ip)

i hope this clears any problems up and with crossed fingers hope they dont go and change anything else with the downtime :D

Hello, can anyone help me with this? The problem is like this... i am trying to connect to a L2 C2 server that had 2 ip`s 1 for loginserver and 1 for gameserver...how can i set the ini to connect to the game server too.

PS: i am not shure about the protocolversion too...i did try with the l2 logger and wouldnt show me anything ... but im shure the problem is the 2nd server ...i saw after the Link GameServer Succeed. it trys to connect to the same ip as loginserver ...how can i fix that?

after i changed the host file, i can log in bot, but i cant log in "normal" any ideas? if i change it back, i can log in normal, but bot dont work :(
