Thats because he are trying to connect with his laptop.
The Webman just shows that his laptop (172.20.8.200) are trying to get the list from server (172.20.8.215)

If your asking about changing the IP in the data.pak ... you have 74.222.4.250 and in the data.pak its 192.168.5.007 , just put a "0" infron of the 4 .

And you need to use VMware if your OS is Vista .

Anyways in the screenshot ....if you look at it and the webman.exe is looking for the list at this IP (172.20.8.200) instead of this IP (172.20.8.215) which everything else is running off of . He needs to change that for his server to work properly .

so i take it this is the root of my problem with clients outside my LAN not being able to see the server...in the data.pak i replaced to ip with my WAN ip XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX and the remote clients cannot see the server so if i was to do ,,xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx,50005,

would this work or do i have to find an alternative way to make my server visible to the outside world? i am able to access the list.txt from anywhere by entering my WAN ip but the client never finds the server.

you need to foward the gameports on your router.
now don'T ask me how-to do that or what that means!
you guys need to use your damn brain!!!
if you don't know what you are doing, you got 2 choices:
1- google.com!!!
2- leave it! running a server requires some knoweldgements!

Yesterday me and silkbotter play around with shop a little bit..

First you need to determined WHAT item EXACTLY that you want to be replaced. I chose expansion type armor, the armor that are in the blacksmith shop.

So, there are the total of five wings in total so I choose the first five items in blacksmith shop, which are Wolf helmet, Jade helmet, Aloha helmet, Vigor helmet, Deva helmet, and Bonita helmet.

You look in itemarmor.csv for these helmets INDEX and write it down.

then open shopset.csv and search for those index. There should only be one index of each helmet in that file. Then you replace the index of a wing into each helmets index. ex. replace Wolf helmet (index = 150) with wing of Holiness (index = 50001) So, now instead of selling Wolf helmet itwould be wing of holiness.

Do the same thing with other helmets and wings.

Save, and done.

REMEMBER!!!!
YOU WILL STILL SEE THOSE HELMETS IN THE SHOP BUT WHEN YOU BUY THEM, THEY WILL BE WINGS!!!!!!!


This method to works with other stuff such as ARGATES

Now, If you want to replace pots with argates or anything else THAT DOES NOT STACK, you have to change STACKCOUNT right under it index. Because argates DOES NOT STACK.

sry for double post but i i search the index of wolf helmet there are many with the number 150 ^^i opened shopset.csv

for beginners:
open shopset.csv
replace the index number 4001 (return scroll) with any other item you want.
you will find the item indexes in the item folder.
after you edited the itemshop.csv of your server's share folder, restart the server and buy a return scroll from the npc ;)

It should be in ITEMINDEX row, the other 150 probably is in STACKCOUNT
