[Merged]Closed Threads due to Forum Rules Violation

hey when i press insert(THANK YOU by th eway for that info) it says NOtce: bot login failure (what now? >.>)

okay, this is a VERY stupid question (to some of you at least ;) ), but have you actually replaced the official client files with the softmod ones? and is the softmod2.dll also there? because thats what "cracks" the bot.

I wish I could but since I've downloaded the bot I get this error when I try:

"Cannot find C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ET C\hosts - Please make sure the folder or file path is correct"

But I know it's right, I've tried rebooting and no luck.

what version of windows are you running? or if its a dualboot system, what partition ir your windows installed on?

but i suppose that wont make ANY sense to you...seeing as you cant find the hosts file which can be found by pressing SEARCH on your freakin' computer.

Sorry 'bout the trouble lol it was an average idiot mistake. I was messing around and noticed that my hosts file was a read only for some reason. I just unchecked that and it worked. Thanks for the help, your my hero. :P

omfg i reinstall sro and removed 127.0.0.1 gwgt1.joymax.com and update the patch and i still get the same error "sro_client.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" plz help out.

when you unrared the softmod file, did it say the file was corrupt? because if you ignored that and used the file anyways, you get that error message ;). so unrar it again with the new winrar and test the client.

no error messages at all? go to task manager and close down all the running sro_client.exe, then try "start game" again. this is usually a problem due to a slow comp.

also check if any antivir or firewalls are blocking the bot, usually im used to close my AntiVir before i execute the bot -> sro

hey now what comes on my mind; everytime i had my AntiVir opened and tryed to execute the bot, i got this fkng Virus-Alert, had to ignore this several times before the bot was executed.
But some days ago i missed the "ignore" button and clicked @ "deny access" so the files was
corrupted for some reasons >_>

Yeah i know its a dangerous thing to put ur AntiVir off during replacing ur files and executing the bot (especially for that gzp-users who have tons of trojans on their disks) but i did it everytime i wanted to use the bot and im still playing without be hacked to ;)

i removed server from hosts but im still gettign server is under inspection or update...

have u tried to put the line:
121.128.133.27 gwgt1.joymax.com
into ur host file? i had to do this to solve this
server is under.... problem :D
