[Merged]Closed Threads due to Forum Rules Violation

To all those who cannot run a web server.


Follow these simple steps.

1. find a web host that will allow you to have YOURNAME.blah.com (NOT [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...])

2. Get gameguard's files ( http://darkinc.org/sremu/viewtopic.php?t=25 you might need to sign up first before you upload) and Extract it to a new folder.

3. Now go to the site where you just signed up at and upload Gameguard files you uploaded

4. when all the upload is done now go to "System32\Drivers\etc\" and open the files "host"

5. now you will need to edit the part where it says URLHERE (example: silkroad.webhost.com)

Copy, Paste and edit it in Host file

URLHERE nprotect.nefficient.com
URLHERE update.nprotect.com
URLHERE update.nprotect.net

*THIS IS AN EXAMPLE*

silkroad.webhost.com nprotect.nefficient.com
silkroad.webhost.com update.nprotect.com
silkroad.webhost.com update.nprotect.net

*---- END OF EXAMPLE ----*


Now when ur done editing save it and run the bot FIRST. then Silkroad as normal.

yes it works with Weapon 0 Durability, No MP Pots etc.
but it should work with arrows too, i haven't tried it yet...

i don't have this problem, my bot runs since 10 hours and i had no disconnect or crash yet :P

just reboot your pc, reinstall the bot, reinstall silkroad, clear your registry and don't touch the SRO.ini, now try it again ;) [/b][/quote]
thx marvel your trcik work for a while and now the bot stop responding so now i gotta do it all over lol.

dam wth happen now.. when i first i tried it on my laptop it is working and now i tried playing again.. and everytime i press home the window doesn't appear anymore.. any1 know the reason y it doesn't work?

you have to keep loading it.. I think you have to run a webserver now :P to use it

I dont use webserver, and It works gread :D .

Well I got a Question, If I want to level at chakji with Bot, and save point is in jangan, will he go about the ferry about hisself? Or cant the bot do that?

There is a bug that causes you to be disconnected from the server when using horse to ride back to your training area.

When you have selected the option to ride a horse to training area, it will go to the training area and everything fine. Once you are in the training area radius the bot will try to dismount from the horse. However, when the bot tries to dismount you will be immediatly disconnected from the server.

The only work around right now is to not use the horse and travel on foot.

it would be better to not use a horse at a near by city. If your training area say Jangan to White tigers then i would use a horse, if Jangan to Water ghost then horse is useless

still cant get the new version to work this is what i have done

1)start abyss webserver
2)start srobot
3)start sro

2nd attempt without webserv
1)start srobot
2)start sro

3rd attempt changing the sro.ini
1)change sro.ini to correct filepath of sro.exe
2)start srobot
3)start sro

4th attempt with abyss and sro.ini fixed
1)change sro.ini
2)start abyss webserver
3)start srobot
4)start sro

none of these have worked for me i tried changing the hookuse=YES still nothing any suggestions?
can anyone email me the original sro client i never use the multi client tool or dupes or anything but maybe something happend with my client if anyone would be nice enough to send me the original maybe that will solve the problem.
