Anyway, just to let people know about the plan. I haven't talked to Scott about it, but I think what is going to happen is as follows:
1) all the reported bugs will be fixed by Friday/Saturday, before the 6th. If we were to come upon complications, we will let you guys know about any delays. I will increase the mastery to 240 tomorrow once I am done with class, which should give everyone a chance to test it out and see if it is for the best. We are still thinking about the whole snowshield thing, again depending on the 240 mastery, that alone might actually be better than adding a snowshield.
2) Seeing how Beta went, we can all agree that keeping the server at 60 cap will not be beneficial for us as server owners, we won't be able to keep the server alive with 100 players (I am hoping we'll at least get that much). So, I suggested upgrading to 80 cap after a month or a little more than a month to Scott, which should give us enough time to prepare everything for the 80 cap while everyone else can enjoy the 60 cap while it lasts. Once Scott replies back to me, and we come across a solution, we will proceed in doing so.
3) We have an exciting new idea that you guys might like, which if approved my Scott, then we'll be adding it along with the 80 cap. Needless to say, this idea will probably end up being one of the ways in which people will need to do in order to get SoX items in the 80 cap (And no, it's not a shitty coin system).
Again, I apologize for being away, but we are humans and life hits us in the face sometimes, please understand that.

Firstly, Every decision we make COMPLETELY depends on the amount of players we get in the first month or two. Our plan from day one was always to upgrade the server to higher cap, right now that all depends on our community. Too early for official statements, we are just stating our geals / ideas.
We are both worried because of the low turn out at our beta, but we also understand that it is a beta.
If we are successful with the 60 cap, we will be focusing on the smaller expansions first before raising the cap, like more end game content, quests, and other improvements. If we are successful we may stay at 60 cap for as long as 6 months before increasing. also i dont mean we need 3000 to be successful. me and shane are happy with 300 or more players.
As for all the players who have been reporting issues and bugs and feeling frustrated that we havnt fixed them yet. We have a list of every report made and we will have everything fixed before we open officially. Shane is heading home now and i finally made it through the biggest snow fall of the year.

Yes it took them a long time to make this server and the fact that 4 days into beta they are thinking of raising the cap from 60-80 and already raising mastery from 180-240 is a joke. Bye bye oldschool server already i guess... They spent the time to make a truly "OLDSCHOOL" server, that (by the way) had a great response from the community (sadly which is all a bunch of impatient kids who now dont like it for this reason or that). If they raise it to 80, and do all this stuff to make it less "oldschool" then they should have just opened this server 8 months ago, instead of asking the question "Would you play this server?"

Dont worry, we are not abandoning any of our original plans, just explaining our future so players know we want to make something long term.
