jhon, are you running vista? if so, click on properties, then one of the menu's there has permissions editting in it, click the option with the administrator icon next to it.

Then, click on the account that you are in, and press "Full Control". Now open history.config, also do this for hosts if you cannot save that.

*Note* You cannot do this unless you are an administrator

yeah go teach these noob-faggots and they will VAC HACK IN PUBLIC then Acclaim will patch again. after that you go BEG for the updated US folder again.

Hello guys...

I Followed all Instructions for the Vac but I got 2 problems...

1- When I write the IP an URL in the HOSTS, the launcher cannot connect (Error)

2- If I Remove the line in the HOSTS, I get another Error (Fialed to Launch)


Why Do I get the errors?
Is there something wrong now?

PD. the original HOSTS file died by an Windows Error (o_O) and I got it of a friend (he copied his HOSTS file a gave me)

Is there any problem with that?

the ip in the host file is therefor that u dont have to start the game with launcher, it blocks the ip where the launcher get the files from!! Thats why u get the error
Start with the shortcut of dekaron_nsse.

11. Start ur game with the shortcut of dekaron_nsse

Now u have downgraded the game and bypassed the launcher. Take care where u go to use it.

I deleted my USA folder coz it was for all maps. I hope most of u can make your own folders and maybe just make it for safer maps/dungs.

For everybody who will flame me coz i made it pub. ITS ALREADY PUB ON OTHER SITES SO WHY NOT HERE!

put out the maplist.csv of ur usa folder and try again, maybe its messed up

hi guys,

call me noob but i really don´t understand step 9.. my problem is this: "C:\Programme\Acclaim\2moons\bin\dekaron_nsse.exe ,preceding" i have created a shortcut from dekaron_nsse.exe, but what do you mean with ",preceding"? i tried a half hour to understand it... Does i have to copy that in a line called target? (My main problem is the translation in german (step9))

[(GERMAN: Da ich in english nicht wirklich der beste bin ne genauere beschreibung: ich habe die verknüpfung von dekaron_nsse.exe, dan öffne ich eigenschaften wie beschrieben aber welche zeile ist target? ziel, ausführen in..? das mit den ",preceding" is das einfach so zu kopieren oder so zu verstehen dass man den beistrich irgendwie voranstellt (preceding))]

Ps.: No stupid comments für that stupid question pls, i know :(
