Zygor Classic | Retail & Other Addons

Anyone else got problems with latest zygor release?

Just came back to wow after some months of break.

The minimap button for Zygor is overwritten by a green square and when i press it a blue/transparent button appears but i cannot interact withit. only move it ??

Tried disabling all other addons but didnt solve the problem. Maybe someone can help

What did you extract it with and is it the latest?

7zip and the latest release from mega

Windows defender says it found a trojan script: Trojan:Script/Conteban.A!ml

Yes I will kindly explain. Windows defender does not like rar files. Now maybe you can kindly explain why you have not updated your definitions for your windows defender? Because that is why it is saying it is a virus when it is nt.

But feel free to scan it with virus total, virusjotti pr any other virus scanner that you choose.

Then to make your life easier. I suggest you keep your virus scanner. Then you would not have saying things are a virus when they are not :)

Updated my windows defender before I downloaded, I also checked it with virustotal, that says it fine. this might be a false positive.

For now I will NOT unpack this version, as I've been downloading zygorguides from ePvp for the past couple of years and this is the FIRST time I got this from my windows defender.

I still thank you for your services but I will wait until next release :)

there is of course another solution.

if you dont trust the download, dont download it, dont unarchive it, dont install it into your wow addons folder.

that way you can rest assured that your system is completely safe.

Well that is your choice. If you have downloaded from this site in the past couple of years. Then they have all been my files.

So over 30 virus scanners say no issue. But your windows defender that does not like rar files. Says it is a virus. All because it cannot scan it correctly.

But hey that’s ok. Your choice. Thing is if your windows defender does the same to other releases. Due to it does not rar files. I guess you will NOT be extracting the file. What I do is to make sure there is zero risk. But hey if every virus scanner in the world said it is clean. But your WD says no. No worries, your choice and have a Good day.

Search and delete all files in the Addons folder named Zygor. Then unpack the archive again and overwrite the remaining data. After that it worked for me.
