For some reason I can't start the filter in Windows Server 2008 R2. When I try to launch, it's showing that protected message, and once I press OK it isn't showing up. From task manager you can see that it's running in background using 100% of the CPU Core it's running on and ram usage is constantly increasing by arround 100mb / second and than it crashes.

I wonder if it's about the Virtualization, because THEMIDA packed app's are not working too with virtual machines.

Any ideas what's wrong with it or suggesstions for solutions are welcome.

It takes time to the filter to load, especially for the first time (it will install all the missing db files & make various checks).

fill your mssql info in the .cfg file then start it, be patient.

if your still having issues, let me know.

Which Virtualization are u using? QEMU and KVM are working fine for my part.

when last ver will be release ?

As always new version (2.1.5) with a lot of new features & bug fixes is expected to be released, so stay tuned.

it will take time until the free version of 2.1.5 will be published, because it is still an experimental build for the free version.

It will take me a descent amount of time to release the next version since im bussy with a lot of projects simultaneously, let alone convert the filter to taiwan, you can make a list of what is working & whats not working on twsro, and i might do a twsro based version, if there is such demand at hand.

How do you know you're under attack?
What kind of attack we are talking about, exploit, flood, ddos or?

The filter is protecting you against known exploits and some of the potential new exploits, if the filter is blocking all unknown opcodes. But it can't protect you if you fucked up your server yourself like causing new bug, exploit by incorrectly debugging the files or some stupid database edits.

Also the filter won't protect you against DDOS attacks, since DDOS attacks are taking down your network infrastructure.
