OHh god... He doesnt get it. Nearly everyones LAN IP is 192.168.x.x.... Lol..... It doesnt matter AT ALL if you hide it. Amazing eh?

well. my lan-ip is 10.x.x.x since we built a huge VPN network to about 60 different locations ( sub-positions of the main company).
the 192.168.x.x address isn't quite enough...

Was when I turn on vmware to do then?

Hi, i have done everything you said but for some reason i can't connect to my server. I have use my internet ip from whatismyip.com, put it in all the server files, and in the 2 client files, disabled the adapter...i have internet working inside the virtual server too. I do all if this but i get can't connect on my game :(. Any reason why this would happen?

Guys the way you find your internal ip adress for vmware is click start and type cmd in the run comand box then when black box comes up type ipconfig then you will see your internal ip adress for vmware i hope this helps. i had the same problem as you guys but im conected now. I dont know why silkbotter doesnt explain this cus its not in any tut or vid, i had to google it to find out how.

because it is BASIC COMPUTING! and besides that, if you look at my posts, you'll see that i wrote it about 10 times!

Thx for TUT , I got mi server but after a while got boren to play alone in a pserver , but the TUT is very helpfull ty again .
