ismokedrow, I did look at your ACRM lately but did not get involved enough to see if there was ascii control selections. It is a very nicely written tool and I will have to try using it more.

I have not posted in a little while...as R.L. takes a toll ....however...
I have managed to correct the garbled language...and now can see mobs...even the cubric boss is displayed.

I, however , have come to a solid brick wall...

the strings, mentioned, to create the soul taming skill ...I have no idea how to even begin to do this step...as a result..I am humbly asking...if someone could kindly share the strings needed. (of course, a corrected arcadia would be ideal...but I understand most would be unwilling to do so as many input unique items etc . ) If anyone would be willing to instruct an old dog ...this one is willing to learn. update: After many hours of pulling my hair , smashing the keyboard , and quite a few cups of coffee....the soul taming skill is (more or less) working....I can only find one soul card (basic rare) and its' success rate is 100% . -.-
Final step that I am humbly asking assistance with is...

boss pets ...takin ..abhuva...kiscia....those ones. (black widow, medusa I am not really concerned with) . Any help getting these to work would be a huge help. I am a little embarrassed to admit that I would need step by step detailed instructions on how to do it.....but I am willing to get my hands dirty and try. (Alternately, I would also be happy to pay someone to have this last step completed for me.......my head hurts. ) Either way, I would be very grateful for this last step to be completed. Thank you guys again...and deepest respect to those responsible for bringing the files to light. Rebels live free.

Are you sure you are following the guide?

Did you start princess aurora first?

Did you configure your opt files?

Why did you leave the server files so deep in the original folders? (with the ???????_?????? folders)

There may be some steps in the guide that you ignored completely.

I work on underground moon and make a good 1st level but i dont know how to start instance in #2 or #3 or #4 level .

There are 2 possibilitys:

1. Create 4 of each instance dungeon for the 4 difficulties

2. Work with InstanceDungeonTypeResource (with some modifications this is working with the 8.1 GS)

I'm having an issue attempting to dump a client...
Client: Blitz Rappelz currently updated as of today (10-16-2014)
attempting a full dump..
acd has completed dump...however...
.rdbs surely cannot be correct....example: db_creature.rdb size is only 158 KB.

(As I understand it.from this page: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] that rdb is Arcadia.dbo.SummonResource ...which would be bigger size with more info...yes , no ? )
And...a .rdb dump from rappelz US client fully updated is failing as I cannot get acre to open the .rdb (says cannot read beyond end of page blah blah).
Is there an 8.2 .rdb editor ? How can sync the server files if rdb editor errors ?

Keep in mind that a program used for dumping a client is dumping the resources in the data files, not the resources in the resource folder.

If it is an 8.1 client the summon resource rdb dumping from the data files does not have soul pets in it, unless the private server owner developer is actually repacking the data files. Which is almost never the case.

The summon resource with out soul pets is actually very small.

I had more luck with glandu2's RDB editor when it came to files for more advanced epics, it can actually read a lot of the 8.2 RDBs and even some of the 9.1 RDBs

hi all .
Tanks to you C1ph3r , you confirm my idea .
I don't know how to create or join eventually , start the instance with the instance_type_id(_) value . my instance only start on instance_type_id(0) .
I make a new dungeon 2 days ago with mobs of instance_type_id(1) or (2) and proper dungeon id , channel id but impossible to enter on this . i allways enter into (0) .
I'm searching on the Vulcanus system for the level flag to start 1 to 13 instance_type_id(_) but nothing .
the only lua command i'm know to enter is :
dlg_special('confirm_window', 'warp_to_instance_dungeon(40000)', '@9825\v#@dungeon_name@#\v@80040000' )
but there is not instance_type_id in and i don't know how to set instance_type_id
Help me please , I'm sure I'm not far , this is verry frustrating !

Thank you Thndr for all your replies...it is greatly appreciated.
All I'm trying to do is sync the files and client....it just seems like for every one step forward ..I'm thrown back two steps.

Example:

Using the Royal Repack and fully updated Zeusa client (as of today)..

The soul taming skill works ...cubrix boss is displayed...and so far...all icons are working..

but..

no unique mob can be tamed....HV doesn't work ..(set to 0 in gameserver.opt)(but if it is set to 1 then at logout, all set skills vanish..) So...I can live with no HV...that to me isn't crucial..

but..all mobs are lvl 200 and the exp rate is stupid high.....even though set to 2 in gameserver.opt .

so if I could just get those 3 things ironed out....I could finally present to my kids and say here....knock Urselves out. (long story short...I am having to monitor my oldest kids' internet activity...so..if I could get this working ...it would vastly appreciated.)

1: mods are lvl 200
2: stupid high exp rate
3 tamable unique mobs

At this point I am totally lost now. At first I had no mobs on the map...I kept digging and digging and got mobs....but then..the language was all garbled.....got that working...then no cubric boss displayed......he's working now...

and thanks to the heads up to the 2.skills.spr ....soul taming works (roughly) only 1 card for all mobs....but that works.

and I found a client that (imo) is the most compatible to the files...(totally imo ) ..

so ...I am asking the person with the know-how to help with this...to please..show me how to correct them. A walk through...a video ...morse code ..
