I had that problem before, i just deleted all the sm files in my silkroad root and its was working agn

I tried that so many times, still doesn't work. I dunno what to do :cry:

yup me 2 it dousnt work on both of my computers

so iff you got another option i would like to hear it

You contradict yourself. First you say it dissapears, then you say the process just sits there. Be more clear.

If it sits at a certain amound of memory (23k is the most common), then you just have to end the process, and keep trying. Make sure there are no other programs running. Sro_client used to always get stuck on my comp too, but i simply end the process and repeat about 3 times and it works.

- SoftMod2_May_v4 (working)

*when extracted you see 2 folders in there:

1- SoftMod2 May v4 --Subfolder--> May-15 SoftMod Crack
2- SoftMod2_May_v4 --Subfolder--> SoftMod2 May v4

*Basicly both are the same except for the SM.TXT file which contains different passwords.. and the two passwords are working.

- iSroBot 1.62 (working)

anyways, I wanted to make sure that Softmod is accepting the connection and at the same time accepting the password, so I already went through all the copy and pasting as you of course know, and the smlog.txt file says this:

as some people already said here... IT DOES NOT START...

silkroad online launcher doesnt start at all...

the game doesnt start....

my Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 and earlier version installed and just fine...

so Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0, 2.0 & 1.0 are F.I.N.E :)

the game still doesnt work..

the lanucher doesnt even appear..

I have like 8 working Usernames and passwords for the sm.txt file, and they are all working just fine, but still nothing making it working.

I even tried to manually after activating Softmod, to launch silkroad from it's regular lanucher, and now I see the START Bottun, so when I click on START to start the game normally.... it just doesnt do anything LOL...!

I also went to the TASK MANAGER to see if it's freezing there, but nothing related to silkroad is listed there... and I mean NOTHING.... of course just the isrobot itself. ;)

so it's not a SM.TXT issue as I can tell...

something else is wrong..

how come even the softmod will even ACT without a SM.TXT file?

if it was really as you said that you deleted all the SM files in your SILKROAD Root folder, then the isrobot would not work at ALL.....!

so plz next time try not to get yourself to add a reply in such place like this unless you're giving exact detailed information.. or else just LISTEN so maybe you learn.


so again guys, if you have any idea about what might be causing this to happen (I mean the game won't launch) then please let us know about it.

I just wanted to confirm what other people said about that it really doesnt work..

He means LEGIT silkroad works :).


And as for your problem, i have never heard of it before. Every time its simply one process or another that is stuck in task manager. I will get back to you if i afind a solution howver :).
