In all likelyhood, port forwarding isn't going to help you.

There's a post somewhere here (quite recent, I recall) that includes a nice simple script that'll set optimal naggle settings. That will have a HUGE impact on your lag.

Other than that, disable utorrent, stop downloading pr0n, and you'll be doing just about the best you can, short of getting a faster connection. There's a post about setting MTU, but I don't think anything you change will have a significant impact on lag.

So im trying to run a bot but all it does is toggle my skill bars...do i need a .dll reader or something? its the metallurgylite bot..ive already replaced the itemdb.xml..and i have autoit installed...any idea what im doing wrong... thanks :D

The metallurgy lite bot is sensitive to a lot of things. Interface color (maybe not so much this), interface.dds file, font, etc. It didn't work for me the first time, but after some modifications, its ok.

You're probably going to need to customize it to run on your machine. Botting via the game interface is a sloppy hack at best. If the bot ever needs to make "decisions", you're going to have problems. Bots that just click in a pre-set order (fossil restore) tend to work fine; bots that need to think tend to need customizing.
