Editing DDS Files (How-To)

ini

f*ck it! I give up, you cant make custom DDS even when you replace the ini and even when you edit the ini because then you get another ini error and if you edit that ini it makes another error in a different ini

Edit: If anyone can post the working INI pack for using custom DDS files it would be really nice and I would praise them for a lifetime

I've found out where sword is, but it's kinda hard to edit them cause everytime, the flame effect looks like a big square ^^;
Same with club, the little star around it, i should try again ^^;
For those who want to edit themselves Sword, it's in "c3\effect\blade\" folder, just have to use that itemtype.dat tools and see the ID and make a seach in your conquer c3\effect folder :)

why do you need to edit *.ini[img]text2schild.php?smilienummer=1&text=???' border='0' alt='???' />
i never had edit my *.ini and it works good. got the black/gold lvl 120 tro armor, devil lvl 120 archer armor and red lvl 130 blade without editing any ini file

does photoshop open .ddr or do u need a convertor?Woops nvm but i dunno go to this website its about wc3 i dunno if u people know about it but ask some high skinners to put some new textures into conquer then if ur ideas will work people we could have like one of the best Conquer Online games ever, but also conquer would take 2 gigs then take a look great website.

I'm still trying to find out how to edit them perfectly but i got another question:
Is it possible to edit the flams which are around lvl 120 trojan armor? Same with the star on archer and the thing on 120 tao robe?
If yeah, does the correct file to edit is "c3\effect\firephoenix" or "c3\effect\fighter"? Not sure which one is the correct one.

i am pretty sure its possible but i am not sure how havent spent 2 much time cause i removed my counquer....

I did, I edited all of them, it still gave more errors and more errors then different errors with different numbers.
Now even though i've re-installed CO warriors wear the tro skin for some reason

maybe u took out diferent file if u reistalled co go find w.e. armor weapon u wanna edit open photoshop and edit how much u wan rename to what ever was the orignal name u were editing put it back where you took should work.

Each level look a lot diffrent . Ofcorse Fixed looks hell good :D.

This is blue/black lvl 120 trojan armor (for male).

jus a tot: since all chars armor r so bulky n a tro is the only snug kind, y not try for a naked tro series lolz
