- Termination of Electus 2017 -
Time flies!
It has been more than 6 months since we released Electus 2017 PVE (90 cap) server. Hereby, we are announcing that the server will be terminated on the 2nd of March, 2018 (6.5 months after the release) due to following reasons.
As you already know, a company hired by the intellectual property owner shut down many private servers' facebook pages, websites and the hosts (claims) lately. We had to shutdown our website (therefore the registration, download and donations), Faceboook page along side stopping the advertisements due to safety matters. Of course, the player count dropped hard as no player joined the server since we couldn't reach out to new players at all.
We are the happinest to host the server and continue to entertain the rest of players who sticked to the server no matter what. It's safe to say that we did not stop this even though we had no income to finance the server, protection and advertisements starting from the 5th month.
This time it will be a little bit shorter compared to Electus Reborn (10 months) and the story will end after 6.5 months. We believe that this ''strike'' from the intellectual property owner (Joymax) was temporaryand it'll eventually go away (maybe it already did).
We must confess that as Electus staff we had great fun providing you a private server you dreamed of once again. The first 3 months were absolutely insane. You seen us staying awake long nights constantly just to provide you a quality gaming experience. It did worth it though! We do appreciate a lot because you guys loved it, sticked to it for half a year. <3
- Throwback to 2017 -
Now, let's go back to September 2017 and remember how did all go;
September 7th, 2017 : Grand opening with 6000 slots -> failed due to custom sro setup cert (megamax files).
September 8th, 2017 : Re-trying to make it work with MeGaMaX -> failed due to custom sro setup cert again and we had to go online right away with 1 default setup (1000 slots)
September 9th, 2017 : Default setup 3500 slots -> successful , however quite a lot of people couldnt login bcuz the HWID limit was 2. The second week we switched to HWID limit 1 .
September 23, 2017: We broke Electus record :x together with you :
3082 online players with HWID limit 1 without bypasses problems. (It became a thing that server owners fake their website player counter without any hesitation nowadays, don't fall for it it is completely fake)
The first three months were full of joy except a few downtimes we had due to power supply failure and NFOrce's network maintenances. Great times NEVER ends!
- Appreciation Message -
We want you to know that we do really appreciate your love and support for Electus. A ton of people hated Electus because LastThief was a little bit too harsh with his reactions and attitude. Electus was massively provocated on social media and elitepvpers thread with new/fake accounts, nothing stopped Electus whatsoever. We did it for the Electus lovers and we got YOUR love back. We appreciate it <3
- The Team & Electus 2018 -
Recently, we had a little bit of change in the Electus team. As you know, the founder LastThief is no more a part of Electus. He couldn't do much for Electus lately because he was quite busy in real life and wanted to leave sro scene. We respect and thank him for what he has done for Electus in the past.
The replacement for him is
buzy aka LENOX aka Phoenix who provided his filter for various private servers you know of for years. Eventually, he was the one who gave LastThief a hand with the latest features we added to our filter. We had to invite him to our team! He is gonna be the new programmer and the website developer for Electus.
He completed brand new Electus filter for us back in October and we started to use it since then. The new filter has very low latency that it's unbelieveable! It's safe to say that we already adore his work and feel stronger because whatever he provided for Electus lately is absolutely insane and top quality. He's also the one who made colored globals / ingame notices and brand
new HWID bypass detection (details later) in the past months. He's currently working on a brand
new user-interface along side
Simulation which will be major for Electus 2018!

We will also have another genius joining our team,
[GM]Sun from InfinitySro (2013) who is well-known on Elitepvpers and in the scene. More will be announced as we are still recruiting team members!
