We got a LOT of monster and a only 11-14 that have actual background on their names

Ill name them:
  • Nemea Lion
  • Simos and eden
  • Cerberus
  • Yeti
  • Kikoples, Polipemos

and that's all

all the other monster have relatively unimaginative names and some senseless ones

If anyone has definition for Edimmu, call it, cuz I want to know what were they thinking
I completely disagree, every single name has a definition in sro based on the korean/indian/euro .. ancient civilization. even statues,Buddha,mountains..it depends on your historical knowledge about it..even this Uniques ''example'' Osiris,Horus names were taken from the old Egyptian ancient..made some researches about it however it has an explanation to increase your knowledge about their civilization

Back to the Edimmu definition found this a Chinese mythology and it looks the same as the one they created in sro.

Well, the monsters may not be the same, but every individual city in Silkroad is actually a real life city, lol.

Buy, why would you need to know the meaning of all mobs? Useless, I guess

Joymax acting like they care, I guess.

On the old sro-pages are cool descriptions of monsters, weapons, or skills.

So funny to read now guides about silkroad ..

Becouse dota 2 is a game which you learn more by playing, which doesn't mean guides don't boost your game knowledge, for example, there are players who have played dota for 8 years and are still worse than me, having played for almost 2 years, that's becouse I have read a lot of guides and watched a lot of streams. If you are starting to play dota 2 read few guides but also just start playing against real people, that's what's gonna help you improve and learn about the game.

that's cuz Valve tweaked, polished and slowed down the game a bit, not to mention many Heroes were removed

They're not dying, people are just too retarded to understand them.

I don't think so, with the ever increasing popularity of LoL many new players are getting into the genre. Even my little sister started playing it and every month a new MOBA appears
11/20/2014 13:51 SoSuNooP#3660
really? well in this case, dota is dying slowly then
